Nationwide PPI advice?

I was contacted yesterday from a woman saying she was from nationwide ppi advice company and that I was owed money from loans and credit cards from a few years back.
She had all my details, address, email address etc and said she was sending over a document for me to sign to start the claim. I was in work at the time so I rushed through the form and digitally signed it. She then asked for my NI number to proceed. I said I didn't have it and she said can I go home and get it. I said call back tomorrow (today) which she did. I said, I don't remember starting this claim and she said it would be for the loans I had in 2018 time. I was in an IVA at the time and I told her this, she said that's not a problem.
Was quite pushy to get my NI number. The digital form looked like something from HMRC and the first time she called me it was from a mobile mumber, 2nd time she blocked caller ID.
Is this just a dodgy company trying to get details?

Obviously you need to read the form you signed and see what fees you've agreed to if you cancel the claim.0 -

1 - So, they don't know what financial products you have
2 - you are not owed anything. that isn't how it workedShe had all my details, address, email address etc and said she was sending over a document for me to sign to start the claim.Your name and address are in the public domain. email address is easily obtained by buying mailing lists. if they have financial data on you then it has got in their hands from dodgy sources.. I was in an IVA at the time and I told her this, she said that's not a problem. You must never engage a claims company to act on your behalf if you are in arrears, defaults or had amounts written off as part of an agreed settlement. If your complaints are successful, the redress can be used against the unpaid debts. However, the claims company will then bill you for their percentage despite you not seeing a penny of it.
However, this company is known for trying to get itself put on HMRC accounts as an agent and taking a cut of any tax rebates you get (even if they are routine refunds nothing to do with them).
you are within your cancellation rights period and should exercise that an in future do not engage with cold callers.

claims management company, they will want a cut of any payout, write in nationwide yourself and instigate the process without them and then any settlement is 100% yours0

Please please avoid using this company. I should have received a refund from them from a cheque HMRC sent them from August last year. I have now had to report it to Action Fraud and notify HMRC. I won't get any of the money back but it will stop them taking anymore in the future0
