Issue with Skoda Service Plan - no-one accepting fault

The easiest option would be for you to have them collect it and return it, it is usually around £20-£25.I pay the collection fee for my car because not having to drive to the dealer in the crazy busy traffic, then either kick my heels for hours or cycle home through the traffic and back again is easily worth £20. (A taxi both ways would be far more than £20 and I'm not travelling by bus)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Your post is a bit misleading as you say you have a service plan you are unable to use when in fact you are choosing not to use an alternative garage.*You have confirmed you can use it (they haven't cancelled it)*You're choosing not to access it on a weekend*You're deciding not to take a day off in the week to service your car.I can totally understand the inconvenience of the local garage closing. But no garage is obligated to remain in the same location (just like no customer is expected not to move further away when they move house). In terms of your service costs. The figures quoted by them seem odd. Skoda pricing is usually very transparent. Their websites have the prices for a service and the extras so based on your service book you should be able to work out what work was done/cost of it. Many plans also usually include MOTs have you had those done there too?I cannot see any grounds for them to reimburse you for sums paid. They may as a gesture of goodwill allow a cancellation of the policy without the 28 day notice but they are still providing a service and you are able to use it - you just choose not to due to the distance.
The poster above at Peugeot was compensated for service failures which is different1 -
Thanks @facade - I would use the collection service if there was one, but sadly neither of the garages offered provide that.
Thank you @HampshireH - I understand your points, but it's not acceptable for me to have to take a day off of my annual leave (or use a Saturday), then remain in that location until the car is ready. I shouldn't have to take a day out of my free time to get my car serviced. I think if I'd paid for any long term membership or plan out of locational convenience (for a gym say), but then the location changed to somewhere much more inconvenient, they'd offer the option to cancel. Maybe we'll have to agree to disagree on that.
Strangely, I looked for my service book yesterday in the car and it wasn't in the wallet... (the plot thickens). I tried registering for the website to view past services but there's an error which they couldn't resolve, hence why I asked for the details on the last service. You're right, the disparity between the two figures is really odd! This plan doesn't include MOTs but the lack of transparency in general is very peculiar. The difference between the two figures quoted is really baffling!
I think you're right, I'll unlikely get any money back, but I'll see what happens based on my correspondence yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to reply!0 -

Could you drop it off in an evening. Dealer would need a drop box for keys. Then collect the next evening dealer leaving keys locked in car (possibly difficult with auto unlocking features) and you collect using the second set of keys.0

Soda service reports are done online. There is no service book.
Only a Skoda garage can update it.
When I bought my second hand Skoda I got the service invoices for the previous 2 years.1 -

I get my Skoda serviced at my local Skoda dealer using their timed bookings system. I drive to the garage, and then wait whilst they service the car, using their wifi to work, or take a stroll into the local town. Works excellently.0
