Zilch account from out of nowhere?

This week June 2023 i have had a Zilch account come up which was apparently set up in 2021. Ive had no recollection of this account, received no emails, now all of a sudden its added £200 to my credit limit. Aqua reduced my credit limit from £3750 to £1600 in the same week which may be unrelated. All very strange. Zilch seem to be a buy now pay later company which is not the type off account i would have applied for. Has this happened to anyone else? Any advice please

Update we've just managed to get into the account by selecting forgotten password. The accounts never been used. I find it strange ive not received any emails etc. Ive managed to close the account from within the app i downloaded. Will leave this up in case anyone has the same problem. Ty

Not 'may'. 'Definitely' unrelated.

Ive also had this recently appear on report Zilch Technology Limited with my old address . I have never had an account with them and experian say they are a debt collection agent?

Unsurprisingly, Experian are wrong.

Zilch just confirmed an account was partially setup but not verified, suspect fraud.
