Paying Student Loans Abroad

Hi There,
I live in France since a few years. Graduated a long time ago in UK. I will be starting a job now where I will earn enough to pay backs student loans.
I usually receive a message from student loans to update my details around November time. If I work a few months and then update my details, will I have to pay the amount in loans from when I started working or just from November onwards when I begin paying back loans on a monthly rate?
Regards,
Abalason
