Where to save 80k

Hi, I have received 80k which I would like to invest for the future. I have considered a fixed bond, is this a good idea?

It might be for some people but bad for others. Impossible to say for you without knowing more about your circumstances and objectives

Also remember you don't need to do the same with all the money. You could for example put £20k into pension, £20k into S&S ISA, £20k into fixed rate account and £20k into instant access. Which works best for you depends on quite a few factors that only you know
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
