What does this mean? Does CR mean I am in credit? If I'm in credit does it mean my DD is too high? I wish their bills were less cryptic.

Looks like they think you were overcharged by £1500 on a bill, so this is a correction.2

BG have a track record of cancelling previous bills, then re-billing for the same period.Have they issued this statement half-way through the activity, so they've cancelled your old bills but haven't yet re-billed?The fact this statement is for Feb to Apr but was issued this month also looks suspicious.N. I tried to submit meter readings 2 days ago. The electricity reading went through but the gas reading wouldn't...site said to contact them. I got on the chat and the rep said they'd "moved to a new system" or something and had used an estimate for the gas reading in this new system. Their estimate was far higher than my actual reading (hence the reason why it wouldn't submit on site). Then I got the statement yesterday. Not sure why it only goes to Apr 12. This energy company stuff is ridiculously convoluted.

Note that it's a replacement bill and that it says you are now in credit. BG have an irritating habit of issuing a replacement bill and deleting all trace of the previous bill, and this can make it very hard to check that a problem has been fully resolved. However, although it's just been issued it only goes as far as 12 Apr 23 so you may find you get a bill for another two months' usage very soon. That could wipe out most or even all of the credit shown in the snapshot. If you don't get paper bills, always download and store each bill as it's issued.Don't know whether BG's new billing system will be any better. I suspect that, at best, it will just be different: it seems that it will no longer support variable Direct Debit, so that's not a good sign.Edit: beaten to it by @QrizB !1
