Fully comp car policy for many years via Lancashire ins. 

Accident 8/6 driver and passenger hospitalised. All services attended and details given.   
Next day on hold with Lancashire over 60 minutes still in hospital,then brief details taken claim no given then told have to call another number. Same experience re time on hold same music then details request ed and given new number. Bare in mind in hospital with injuries and no access to paperwork. 

One week later at home on bed rest damaged vertebrae receive letter from police re removal and storage charges as no contact from insurers. I phoned car pound explained and said they would give me more time. Later that day In post letter from Markerstudy saying they have an incident number but no knowledge of claim. Telephoned and told sorry a mistake all ok don,T call us we will contact you. 

Next receive a totally confusing letter sayin car a write off even thou not inspected but if after inspected can be repaired will let me know and please can they have my bank details.  Now I am getting many phone calls some of which are hang ups and some asking for photos of my car. Keep explaining home alone bedridden given 10 minutes to get photos,, mentioning passenger can claim thousands against me
For injuries. 

Now keep calling non stop have you got pictures yet at least 20 calls this pm. Is this right or a scam. Have called 5 times whilst writing this. Where can I go for help please

Unbelievablly today I had the renewal quote for my second car. I was typing in a change because of the accident and noticed further on it was already documented- strange how fast they move when they want! But the most surprising thing was they already knew my car was a write off and the amount of the settlement- shame no one has told me yet!

markerstudy - avoid at all costs! 1 of a number companies who are appalling when it comes to claims
