Advice Ebay- Restricted account and £2k can I sue?

Im a long term ebayer, 10 years and 100% positive feedback.
I sold A Macbook over the weekend and £2400 payout was delayed due to my account being restricted. No issue, its a lot of money.
Happily submitted ID, proof of address and receipt when I purchased the item.

This is when things went down hill, in bad English I have an email saying it was not adequate or unclear.
I submitted again.
Then I was asked about previous purchases from months ago, all fulfilled and buyers happy.

Im entering a non stop loop and rather than address issue, they ask for something else.

I have fulfilled the item and posted it and I am out of pocket £2400.

What are my legal right here?

Thank you in advance.

Which account is restricted? eBay or where the payment went to (PayPal etc)?

I was going to suggest that the Ebay board would be a better place for this thread (as it's more about their policies and processes than legal rights as such), but see it's been posted there already as well....

I haven't used eBay for quite a while, so that is news to me.

I get that, but you've willingly entered into a contract with Ebay, under which you accept their policies, which govern how goods and money are exchanged when using their platform.  If you contend that any of their policies are unfair or unlawful then you can take legal action against them (good luck with that), but otherwise there isn't really any overarching legislation that says (for example) that you're entitled to the proceeds of a sale via an online marketplace within n days/weeks, if that's what you're hoping for?

4 working days isn’t really that long. At the moment, no, you can’t sue.

Update, mysteriously overnight 25 days later I was paid. Im not allowed to sell electronic anymore, not specifically Apple just any. This was after weeks of same questions and invoices and bank statement again and again. Pleases to the get £2.4k and baffled by the whole thing.
