New Carpet and preventing dents

Hello everyone! I've just had new carpets fitted and want to try and prevent dents appearing in the new carpet for as long as possible. The best way to keep your carpet looking good is to always take outdoor shoes off at the front door. No-one enters my home in shoes! My kids were brought up with this rule and stick by it with their own children in their houses. It’s becomes second nature.

Yeah that's what we do as well.... I even do that when visiting other people in their homes purely out of instint (then realise I got a hole in my sock!)
