Hello there
So Erudio are now going after property.
Just had this in the post for my partner:
"This is not an application for the sale of the property; it is to allow our client (Erudio) to register a notice at the Land Registry. Briefly, this means that when the property is sold or re-mortgaged, the judgement debt due to our client will be deducted from the Defendant's share of the proceeds of sale, or prior to any share being paid out to the Defendant"
Can I use any of these letters mentioned here to get rid of this:
In that case read @sourcrates post on statute barred debts here before deciding what to do.

It's definately been 25 years now.
Does this not go against Data Protection!
Any advice would be great please
Thanks

No, it's not a data protection breach but you're going to have to give a lot more information before anyone can advise on what route to take. When where the loans taken, did you successfully defer every year, if not when did you fail to defer, has there ever been a period of six years or more when you didn't acknowledge the loanAs they are applying for a charging order did you defend the court claimAnswers to these will guide on the right course of action to take now.PSInsert your partner where I've said you.0
