No one knows for sure, but current predictions are that prices are likely to fall again slightly (est 7%) in October.
My supplier Octopus has just sent me revised annual ests based on current usage. They suggest that their best Loyalty fixed rate offering (to June 2024) would cost me approx 2% more than the SVT. We're much higher users that you though.
If you want the security of knowing exactly how much per unit you'll be paying, then you should go for it. Is there a hefty fee if you want to go back to SVT?
FWIW, I'm staying on SVT for now.

Unfortunately there are no right or wrong answers except with hindsight.  It depends on your attitude to risk, and you'd need a good crystal ball.
If prices fall then you'll be stuck on an expensive tariff with high exit fees.  If Ukraine hots up, China invades Taiwan or there's another pandemic then your fix will turn out to have been a bargain.
Sorry if such a vague answer seems unhelpful but that's how it is.

Yeah suppose fixed only £2 difference but if drops might just hold out for now maybe for 3 months then see what’s happening

The plus side to not fixing is you can always use less energy to off set the rise, whereas if you fix you are locked in.

Of course the other thing is you may have 3 months of costs < SVT which will also mitigate if there is a drop in October

but it’s all very crystal ball

my fix was lower unit rates and standing charges and the same calculator you used said it was worth considering so a better position than you appear to be though
