Can I open both a S&S Isa and a cash ISA and fund bothwith £20k in the same financial year ?

Just as a follow-up question to OP's, if an individual is contributing monthly to an S&SISA in current tax year, let's assume planning to contribute £6k in total for the year could I also open a cash ISA and put the other £14k of the total permitted annual allowance into the cash ISA?ColdIron said:
