Problems connecting sky. Please help.

I just connected sky in a second room. Everything in my living room was and is working fine.

I bought a 4way LNB, F-type connector, Sky box and a viewing card. I connected everything fine but for some reason in my second room I have only got 9 channels listed. This is really weird because when I insert the new card in my main room box it shows all channels (not able to view but they're there). Is there a way to get all channels on my second box???

Thanks in advance,,, tom:beer:

Yea, that works fine. It seems to be the box but wondering how to fix the problem.

    Try a full system reset.

Press "Services" "4" then "0" then "1" and "select".

It sounds like the software on the partly working box is out of date, leave it connected and on standby, it should sort itself eventually.

    Good news.;)

I am afraid that Sky don't do any one off payment schemes as far as I am aware.

You would get a better line up of channels using Freeview, actually less channels, but far better quality IMO.

Freesat starts in March 2008, it may be worth waiting to see what that brings.
