Halifax payment suspicious?

Hi

So the Halifax app popped up say .... Payment could not be made call {Removed by Forum Team}. 

Is there a chance my app interface was changed to click logon to see what happened but would take me to a fake copy of Halifax???

Or .

Has someone try to take money from me

Not rang Halifax, as not sure who to call - as I did little search online which has worried me more due to simlar experience 

Anyone had this before

 Ring Halifax on the number on the back of your card

I don't think it's possible for an App to be hijacked but that's the number Halifax give to call them from abroad. Call them on their normal number: 0345 7203040

Never call a number posted in the forum, you have no idea whether the poster is genuine or not. This number may be the same as the one on your card, but always go by what is on the card before anything else.

Ring your bank on the number given on the back of the bank card they have given you.

Never call your bank on the number that appears on any link or forum.
