Ipod .... just itunes?

Hi there
Completely new to this ipod lark. Is it just itunes we need to use to download music or are there another sites. We have the new ipod nano 3rd gen. I presume the downloads we get from the internet will include videos??

You need to use iTunes to manage the content but you can use other sites/tools to download. Then transfer whatever it is you have to iTunes.
Have done this with a couple of videos form youtube and google

You can download music from anywhere else as long as it is in MP3 or AAC formats.

You'll only get videos for music, if you download these especially, all "MP3" files are music only.

I put a Lee Evans concert on my DS nano - so you can get more than music videos

Where is the cheapest place to get the music from?

My DS still likes to get the CDs which he then transfers to his ipod so can't help you there. The Lee Evans video, and many more videos, are free - and legal

You misread me, "You'll only get videos for music, if you download these especially" i.e. as an extra not the standard MP3 download. I didn't say you couldn't get anything else. Of course you can get many non-music related videos, from TV series to films - that's one of the selling points of having a video iPod...
