Electric Shower

Old shower started tripping out replaced it with a new one the same 8.5 K but still getting same problem. Nightmare running downstairs to reset.

Any Techies help please.

    It could be a faulty earth or faulty connector in the bathroom on/off switch, which - if it is one of the pull cord types in the bathroom, frequently arc and go wrong.

    It could also be the wrong size circuit breaker in your consumer unit.

    I think an electric shower should have a 45amp one, but check the paperwork that came with your new shower unit.

    If the circuit breaker is below the recommended size, fitting a 45amp one should fix the problem.
