Insurer who cover chicken pox

Hello, was just looking to see if anyone could recommend a travel insurance company who would pay out if a child in the family was to get chicken pox. We are due to travel next month and I am so worried my five year old may get chicken pox and we would have to cancel. We get travel insurance through our RBS bank account but when I read the policy it doesn’t cover us for cancellation if the airline refuse to transport someone.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had good experiences with any companies in regards to claiming for chicken pox.

Chicken Pox cover is no different to any other illness.

Are you sure the exclusion applies  when it is due to a medical condition, which will probably require a medical certificate, and not to refusal to board due to  non medial problems such as being drunk, behaviour etc.

Airlines have no discretion concerning boarding where chickenpox is diagnosed.
You need to speak with the travel insurers on this to check what expenses are covered in a worst case scenario.
