Spam from retailer - Reporting to authorities

Hello
A long time ago I placed an order from an online retailer. I provided my address and my mobile number. I have been receiving SMS messages offers from them under their retail name so no actual number. Their website FAQs say that you can unsubscribe by logging into your account. When I log in, I can only see the option to unsubscribe from emails but not SMS. I also cannot remove my mobile number as it's "mandatory.
On that page it says "You can manage your preferences for marketing in your account, or unsubscribe at any time from the link in emails or instructions from the SMS provider. To find out more information about how we use your data please view our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions."
The SMS messages either come with instructions to send END to 85525 (which is a chargeable number). The latest message says to visit stop-sms.online. I visited the page and entered my number and it simply says that my number was not recognised. It sounds shady to me.
I am going to call them to complain and I suspect they will comply. However, I would like to report this behaviour to the relevant authorities so that they can take the appropriate action to prevent others who are not tech-savvy from being bombarded by them. How can I do that and who do I report them to?
I would be happy to mention the retailer if that is allowed in the forum.
Thank you in advance.

How is having to telephone a company against someone who isnt "tech savvy"? Only giving them the option to do it online would be against tech savvy people.
Contact them, if they dont stop (acknowledging that stopping marketing can take a month or two given how long in advance some campaigns are arranged) then you have grounds for complaint.0 -

Have you tried your number in international format on the stop-sms website (i.e. replace the front zero with either 0044 or +44) or can you change the number in your online account to 11 digits of nonsense such as 01234567890.
Doesn’t help the technicality of them dodging their obligations, but might solve the issue.0 -
Even easier just block the number.Life in the slow lane0
