Hi all,
I recently changed the criteria on which my credit score is based - I had 1 dependent, though changed this to 0 as son has left home and is now working. My score was then reset to zero! Does it recalculate at some point or have i done something horribly wrong?
Thanks

The good new the number is meaningless and cannot be seen by anyone else. Probably a glitch that will set itself right at some point.0

It's all good.
Zero is as good as 999 when it comes to credit scores. You'll still get the same deals.0 -
I'll give you a score of 888 for the time being. It has exactly the same effect.

Haha the credit scores and metrics on those sites are always amusing.
My partner and I earn around £100k between us with virtually no debt. 'Very High' chance of being accepted for any credit on the various apps.
I recently change my broadband deal to Shell Broadband (couldn't resist that £105 Amazon gift card...) and for some reason Shell decide to hard check me 4 times before the contract comes into effect.
Next time it updates, score has fallen through the floor. 'Very Low' chance of being accepted for anything.
I wouldn't lose sleep over it.Know what you don't0 -
Mine has just done this too. I amended my details to include other income from savings interest then my score dropped from 999 to zero. Now I can’t access my credit report. I just hope it’s a temporary glitch. Wish I’d left well alone.0
