I get free offers for Amazon Music Unlimited from time to time. It's very good on that basis, and used in conjunction with Amazon Echo devices. Otherwise, I find all the music subs somewhat expensive given that many/most of us already have music libraries.1

thanks is there any which is better than others for supporting artists?0

Bandcamp probably has more of a reputation for supporting artists. I don't know anything about Deezer or Tidal, though.1

Spotify probably the best for content with Deezer a close second.....I believe Deezer is changing the way it pays artists to make it more transparent... Otherwise AFAIKthere isn't much difference between them all in that regard.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Tried Tidal's Hi-Fi plus which did sound better on the home stereo but not notably better on iPhone with our headphones so certainly not worth the premium as most our music listening is done on the move.
Mrs uses Spotify as she's found all of her preferred playlists etc on it, I use Apple Music as its bundled in with other services already subscribed to and dont need to pay for another one. Spotify is better for coverage of more obscure things than Apple.0 -
Tidal is co-owned by a number of major artists (J Zed, Madonna etc) and makes it a USP that it donates more to its artists per stream than other streaming services do.tiger135 said:thanks is there any which is better than others for supporting artists?
Qobuz is good but pushes its high sound quality as its virtue rather than better artist payments.
Paying a premium for high quality is only worth it if listening via a decent audio system.1
