Hello everyone
Little one stayed last night - she played in her paddling pool after nursery and I sat with my feet in - to her amusement. Of course I ended up wet as her game was to slide down the slide and I had to catch her with my feet...she did say I was 'a marvellous granny!' so it was worth it.
She woke me at 5 and 6 then 7 but then played on her ipad for a bit so it was actually 8 before we got up. I told her we were just having a morning at home - she was delighted that she could just stay in her vest and knickers all morning - she's too warm in her pyjamas just now. She got all her dolls out and pretended they were at nursery and she was the teacher - and I managed to get some jobs done.
DD picked her up just after lunch as I was stewarding at our local cinema. When I got there they hadn't sold any tickets but just 5 minutes before it was due to start a lady came in and bought a ticket. So there was just the 2 of us watching! It was 'Greatest Days' and I really enjoyed it - it's all Take That songs.
We've had no sunshine here but I've still got lots of washing dried.
Last night I put a load outside after work at 4.30 and by 6pm it was completely dry.
Bella glad to hear you've enjoyed your holiday - I'd love to go on a cruise.
