Will I get my last payment of uc?

So I have found a part time job which is paid from the 1st to the last working day of the month but isn’t paid to us until the 15th (1st june-30thjune paid on 15th July)

I will be due to get paid UC on the 12th of July so was wondering if I will get paid as normal?

I have updated my claim to say I have a 16 hour a week job so I don’t have to have face to face appointments anymore.

UC is based on earnings received during your assessment periods. If payment is usually due on 12th then your AP will be 6th to 5th of every month. This means that your July payment will be as normal.

For future payments your UC will be reduced by 55% if you don't have the work allowance. If you're entitled to the work allowance then a certain amount of earnings will be disregarded because the deductions apply. Yes, it's calculated based on actual money received so won't be taken into account until the assessment period you actually get paid.

Congratulations on finding a job, I hope it works out well.

Have you had a new claimant commitment to accept based on the changes?

Be aware that if you aren't receiving a payment before the end of this Assessment Period the UC system will likely move you back into the Intensive regime and you may well be booked a new appointment.

Just be aware of this and keep a close eye on your To-do list and journal.

(Note: you might be lucky and find that they don't try to book an appointment if you drop back into the Intensive regime, but in my experience, many Work Coaches and their Team Leaders do not have a good understanding of how Assessment Periods/ Earning's feeds etc work)
