TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “KISS FM x Vodafone x Google Pixel 7 – Spotlight Online Competition – 15th – 22nd June 2023” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Entries are restricted to one entry per person.   Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   (A)    https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/   Online entry  is free of charge.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	There will be one winner of the Competition.   The prize winner will be those persons who correctly answers the multi-choice question and are selected by electronic random draw.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   From Thursday 15th June 9:01am (the “Start Time”) to 23:59pm Thursday 22ndJune 2023 (“End Time”).   Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.   However if the winner cannot be contacted within 28 working days of the initial contact, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
5. THE PRIZE	1 winner will receive the following prize (the “Prize”):   Break for 4 adults  Prize package for 4 adults includes: £100 travel allowance (£25 per person) 2 nights’ luxury (4*) hotel accommodation in winner’s chosen city, based on 2x double occupancy rooms Dinner and drinks at top restaurant, up the value of £75 per person, including service charge 1x Google Pixel 7 Smartphone, Android, 6.3”, 5G, SIM Free, 128GB, with secure delivery within mainland UK 4x tickets to the Vodafone and Google Pixel 7 presents KISS Hype Chart Live event on 27th June.     Parts 1,2,3 and 4 are provided by Element Prizing (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.   Parts 4 – are provided by Bauer Media and are non transferable, non- refundable and no cash alternative will be provided. The tickets are for the main winner and they will have 3x plus ones they can bring. We will need the full name of the plus ones. The event is on Tuesday 26th June 2023 from 6pm-9pm. Non travel or accommodation is included in the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange their own travel to and from the event. Canopies are provided at the event, it is the responsibility of the winner and their plus ones to check the allergies at the event.   Element T&Cs: TERMS & CONDITIONS: Prize is for 4 adults; The Recipients must travel at the same time with the same itinerary; Travel allowance provided to the value of £25 per person, to be provided via bank transfer to the winner’s nominated account, recipient of the funds must be ages 18 years old or over; At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over; Anyone under 18 will require parent or guardian permission prior to travel; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation; Accommodation is based on four adults sharing two double occupancy rooms (2 adults per room) in chosen city; Accommodation will be selected by the prize provider at their sole discretion; Accommodation for the Recipients does not include any meals, incidentals, gratuities, or telephone calls. Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip will be the responsibility of the Recipients. A credit card for incidentals will be requested by the accommodation at check-in and therefore at least one of the Recipients must possess and travel with a valid credit card; the prize excludes meals and drinks, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, personal expenses and anything not expressly stated in the prize package; All elements of the prize are subject to availability; If unavailable, experiences and items of a similar nature and value may be offered at prize provider’s discretion; Winners must contact prize provider with three preferred travel dates in three separate months no later than six weeks prior to departure; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be amended or cancelled; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; The prize cannot be taken over the months of July and August, from 21stDecember – 4th January (Christmas and New Year), over school holidays or UK public holidays, or over Easter Sunday; Prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and all travel must be completed within that time; Dinner at restaurant in winner’s chosen city is provided to the value of £75 per person, including service charge; Prize must be taken in accordance with government guidelines and COVID-19 rules and restrictions in place at the time of travel; The arrangement and additional costs for any COVID-19 related expenses that may be incurred are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest; For the Google Pixel 7 Smartphone, delivery is available to one address within mainland UK only; Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; Due to industry-wide supply chain issues, there may be unforeseen delays to deliveries of prizes; We will endeavour to get products delivered to winners as quickly as possible; All prizes are subject to availability; exact makes and models may vary; In the event that any of the products listed above are unavailable, an alternative product of equal value will be provided; The prize may need to be signed for on delivery and it is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that all items are present, correct and undamaged; recipient may need to provide ID on delivery; It is the responsibility of the winner or the winner’s parent/guardian to provide the correct delivery information to prize provider; Item will be delivered within 28 days of confirming delivery address with prize provider (Element London Ltd). Items may arrive separately; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.

They seem so be having errors recently on their website. I messaged them last time on Facebook & they corrected it. I've messaged again just now so hopefully it'll be rectified soon.

It still allowed me to click on the options(mouse icon changed from pointer to finger point) but never marked it anywhere, also submitted the form and got the "thanks for entering"

I'm using Chrome on Android phone and I tapped the answer and managed to get the page to complain "only one entry allowed". God knows what I submitted though. 😁😁
