The MOT garage I use only do MOT’s and don’t do any repair of any sort. And you only pay when you pass. So no they can’t stop you taking it away.0

Took my car in this morning for the Aircon recharging so asked the question of the owner who I have known for many yearsWhilst it is not written down no other work is undertaken until they have carried out an MOT inspection -If they identify any major concerns they contact the customer before proceeding.Taking away. This also applies when vehicles come in for other work. If they identify any major/dangerous faults then they put it in writing and ask the customer to sign acknowledging - in addition they will take a picture of the fault.I was able to look at his rogues gallery and some were frightening0
