Water supply cover.

So correct me if I am wrong but I believe most home insurance policy's with emergency cover added, will NOT cover your water supply pipe from boundary to internal stop valve.
I know homeserve have this cover, but it is not a stand alone cover they now offer, its a combined policy with burst pipes / blocked drains etc.
So if I took out homeserve cover, I then have a overlap in cover, as I already have emergency cover will cover burst pipes etc with my home insurance.

Do you have cover for your water supply pipe?
If I want this covered I will need to cancel my emergency cover on my home insurance, and take out a homeserve policy.
Just interested what other people do, feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks.

No. If it ever needed fixed, I'd pay for it at the time. And will be able to afford to. Why would I need insurance?
