Got DFS sofa and colour seems to be wearing away where you sit, it's happening on all sitting areas
It's only 10 months old and DFS are calling to look at it
Any thoughts on if it's faulty or something we've done?

    Wear rough clothing?

That looks like surface being worn off.

Just normal clothes, wouldn't have thought it should go like this under normal use

I agree that it looks like abrasion rather than simply colour coming away.

Can you test another patch somewhere out of sight, e.g. on the base, or on the back if it's against a wall?

As it's happening on all seating areas a manufacturing fault has to be top of the list.

    Looks like fake leather delaminating.

It's definitely leather on the seat cushions and backs I'm not sure about the rest
It's the surface finish that seems to have come away

Real leather does not do that. Your furniture may contain leather but it is not constructed of a simple piece of hide which contained no laminations so the surface does delaminate. What you have there is is something called bi-cast leather and the surface that is pealing away is a plastic coating.

After just 10 months that is not ware and tear it is faulty.
