Old payslip or any communication from DWP or HMRC?Signature removed for peace of mind0

The most helpful would be the Notice of Coding - that will show any current Company Pension but not any which he may have paid into years ago but not started to drawNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Sorry for your loss.
Was your late husband in receipt of any benefits or a state pension? Payments into bank account quote a reference that includes the NI number.
Did your late husband hold an ISA with any bank or building society? If so the NI number will be included in their records and may appear in any paperwork.
Hope that helps.0 -
Was he employed as they would have his NI number.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Sorry for your loss. How long ago was his passing and was he employed at the time? If it was very recent, contact his ex-employer and ask for a P45 (I assume you will get one, I don't know). It will have some information on at least to get you going as well.May you find your sister soon Helli.
