Ccj 4 months left on file

So just a quick question really and appreciate it may seem a silly one but it’s been a long long time since I’ll have a credit file that’s in good order.

I have a satisfied ccj that has 4 months left on my credit file I have a few credit cards all paid no missed payments had loan for 3 years which ended a year ago again no missed payments and paid off.

so thought I’d do a search for a loan don’t need one just wanted to see what kind of offers I was getting and there all still sub prime lenders with crazy apr is this because of the ccj being on there and would this likely change when it falls off I appreciate the ccj is only one factor on potential offers but apart from that everything is in order come November I’ll have a 6 year history with no missed payments currently earn £35k
Thanks.

A CCJ will be a fairly major red flag for most mainstream lenders, even if it's quite old.
What size of loan were you looking at?  If it's fairly substantial in relation to your income, affordability will play a big part - and do remember that any additional debt would be viewed alongside any existing debt (a mortgage, for instance).
Aside from that, interest rates are rising across the board, so that will also be playing a part.

Sorry wasn’t looking for a loan as such but ever since I’ve had a ccj on there loan offers was always like crazy rates thought with only 4 months left of it being on file and it satisfied thought I might see an improvement in offers but I haven’t.
And yeah totally agree with interest rates going up but my loans offers were like 40 plus interest wise but guess as you mentioned a ccj is a ccj at the end of the day regardless if it’s 6 weeks old or 5 years and 8 months lol suppose it rules out a lot of lenders just by having it on there
    Appreciate the reply

In my experience everything changed when my CCJ fell off my file.  A CCJ is a matter of public record and is probably the worst thing to have on your file. Until it falls off its quite damaging
