Obtaining a copy of the will from Govt probate site

Has anyone ever obtained a copy of a will from the Govt probate site?
I used the service on Monday. I found the will and paid the £1.50 fee. In my account I can see the order and there are two links: "Download Grant" and "Download Will". Downloading the grant works fine but downloading the will does nothing at all. I tried in two different browsers.

Has anyone else had this?

I've contacted them and had a fairly prompt reply that they will look into it but no indication of timescale.

I did this about 2 months ago.  It can take a couple of days for the papers to be available to download after you've paid.  When they are you should get an email telling you they are there ready to download.

But, I never had the issue you've got, where one was there one wasn't.  Did you have the email saying they were there?

    Thanks.

I have not (yet) had an email but to be fair it didn't say anything about needing to wait and neither did the person that responded to my query. So I'll try to be a bit more patient, which doesn't come naturally to me. but it seems odd to make a link available immediately if there is going to be nothing on the other end of it for a few days, especially when the other links works fine.

Does it say if it is for a Grant of Administration? If so, there is no will, otherwise a Grant of Probate would have been issued. The site puts up both download options as a matter of course but only the grant one works.

There is definitely a will and it definitely went through probate. I think I just haven't waited long enough.

If you only ordered on Monday, then waiting another day or two should resolve the issue.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

I did the same a week or so ago and both documents were available to download within a few minutes. But I did get an email for each one separately.   As it happens I'd already seen them and downloaded them before I saw the emails.  If you haven't had the email yet, you maybe need to just wait for that.

I just had the email and successfully downloaded the will so I was just being impatient.
However, one of the pages is missing so I've had to go back to them and ask where the paper copy is and whether I can get a scan of the missing page.

I'm starting to feel a bit picked on!
