Parking Eye ASDA Fine

It never rains but it pours! We got a third fine in 3 months (2 from railway and this one from ASDA)
Date of alleged contravention: 02/06/2023
NTO Date: 06/06/2023
Alleged Offence: Not purchasing the appropriate parking or remaining at the car park for longer than permitted.
Circumstances: Family shopping with 2 babies, spent £160, then stopped in McDonalds (I know very bad, but we needed a break). Stayed in 2hrs 17, apparently 90min is free and then £1 is due. Don't have a receipt, but can show proof of payment with a bank card.
"Fine"/Invoice issued for £70 reduced to £40.
We intend to complain to Asda Manager and Head office. Sorry for being dim, but we cannot find the newbie thread to the appeal template, could you kindly link it?
Thank you

No need because you already have two links back to the forum front page, on this page.  One where my signature tells everyone where it is (at the top of the page) and another blue hyperlink right under the reply box below.

Anyway, you just need to appeal showing all your receipts and PEye will cancel it.

An email to the chief executives office at Asda - ceo@asda.co.uk - should lead to an early cancellation. Make sure yo express your dis[leasure at having had a surcharge added to your spending at the store by a third party contractor. Suggest strongly that you will in future avoid Asda and spend your cash at other stores which value your custom.

Either get the Asda manager to cancel it, or appeal to PE adding a copy of proofs of purchase. Usually anything >£30 on site spending results in a cancellation.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Some ASDAs have Mc Donalds inside, was this one of those places?
Was/is the Mc Donalds on the same site?

    Where is this ASDA?
