The other inside is light grey with swirl like patterns on the outside. Have seen this before and it’s probably to do with the source. Old fence panels can go a similar colour and I’ve seen wasps in the past scratching at the surface.0 -

Wasps don’t usually build where there’s been a previous nest, you can buy false wasps nests to deter them,not sure how successful they are though1
