Thank you, I'm just about to get a mortgage so am kind of worrying about this affecting my credit rating and I'm also thinking it may be time to apply for a blue badge so I'm not in this situation again. 🙃
Nothing in this matter will affect your credit rating. Receiving a county court claim is not a CCJ and does not affect your credit rating.

The only time anything will ever affect your credit rating is if you receive a judgment against you (by default or at a hearing) and you fail to pay the total amount within 30 days of judgment. So, even if you were to lose a claim (unlikely to ever get to a hearing with UKPC/DCB Legal), there would be no record of it on your credit file, ever.
  • @Coupon-mad, I first emailed the aldi ceo, then emailed dcbl and ukpc, with a sars request and the 30 day hold this was when I told them I'm disabled. I'll post their responses.

As CM has stated a blue badge is not issued for use on private land however as the BPA COP states it is a good way to simply denote that the vehicle has a right to park there, and it makes the job of the PPC easier.
    The relevant section states:
    16.3
Operators of off-street car parks do not have to
recognise the Blue Badge scheme. But many choose to
do so to meet their obligations under the Equality Act.
Although a Blue Badge is not issued to all disabled people
it is issued to those with mobility problems. So it is a
good way for parking operators to identify people who
    need special parking provision.
The way that the appeals process was set up by the BPA is designed to work so that an appeal to the operator after the event proving a disabled person was present, should cancel the charge, even though the PPC has had to do some extra work.
They never let it work that way due to greed and they are chancers, I think this would be another discontinuation personally. UKPC are just at it, and how they sleep I don't know!!

I've plenty of proof, I've been under a consultant continuously since I was 24, missed hip dysplasia as a baby, which has caused osteoarthritis, numerous hip labral tears, currently waiting for another hip operation as I've bone spurs on the ball of my hip from bone rubbing together, have a mound of hospital letters and like I say have pip letters too. I correctly used a space that I needed to that day! The fact they want me to pay nearly £300 for that is absolutely absurd!

    Yep. This is disability discrimination.

You certainly meet the legal definition of disability and I think if you now apply for a Blue Badge that helps paint the picture of need.
