Transfer Funds out of Vanguard Query

Hi,

I wish to transfer my distributing S&P 500 holdings held in my Vanguard General Acct into my Halifax SD acct.

Is it possible to transfer it straight into an accumulating version at Halifax?

TIA!

Not as far as I'm aware, 'in specie' transfers need to be exactly like for like, so you'd need to go via cash at some point.

Its not really an issue though.   either do a share class switch before or after.
