TELLIT01 and sgun, I have just return from a local store where i got DIY gloves, glasses and Masks and yes its very hotand yes, im very tired but i am determined to start today. , will see how it goes, They said tomorrow will be very hot so i will skip tomorrow and come back when its bearable.
CliveOfIndia, that was a very useful information, i will go and check out the tap and listen if its refilling, (lol) i was checking the loft for other exit under the floor the first time i saw it.
Thank you all , I really appreciate, I will keep you postedPlease do keep us posted.Just one other piece of advice. Mask, goggles and gloves are a very sensible idea. But also make sure your arms and legs are covered - don't do it wearing shorts and t-shirt, tempting though it may be in the heat. Fibreglass insulation won't actually cause you any harm as such, but if it gets on your skin you'll be itching worse than an itchy-thing for ages.

This sounds quite exciting.
I'm by the coast, and the sea mist keeps us cool at the moment. The idea of doing this job in a heatwave - well, good luck to the OP and I hope you survive without a trip in an ambulance. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Working in enclosed, hot and airless places in this weather is a recipe for heatstroke and/or severe dehydration. No matter how keen you are to get the work done, it isn't worth risking your health for.

You could start the job at midnight......it'll be cooler then and much more pleasant than attempting it in 30 deg heat. Work through to 5 or 6am, take a shower, breakfast and sleep all day.
By Monday morning you could have the job finished. Good luck.1 -
I would get one of the disposable overall suits, screwfix do them for a few pounds. Just wear this with nothing underneath and it will help keep you cool and you can throw it away at the end of the job. Start work early in the morning. Lofts heat up during the day so are horrible in the afternoon or evening, so if you can get it done in the morning it is a lot more comfortable.

I posted here about my experience. Not a big DIYer but did it and was pleased with the results.
