Amazon driver crashed into property and damaged railing. Insurance refusing to cover.

If you have legal cover on your home insurance that might be a route to get Amazon to accept responsibility?

So just as a bit of an update, I filed a complaint with the insurer because they refused to make a claim for vehicle damage to railings when there's a clear difference in their policy wording between railing and fence.
Within a few hours I had a call back to say they'd reviewed it and that the individual who refused the claim was wrong to refuse it and that they would cover it - small victory!
In that time however, Amazon claims handler ARC has referred back to the logistics company for a statement as by the sounds of it, because I've got a witness statement they're happy to progress further.
Also, thanks to AskMID I've managed to get hold of the insurer for the third party also so I've got 3 avenues to go down.

Excellent news!!
I was about to suggest a call to the papers who could show you/family outside your house by the damage rail with a headline "Insurance company denies help to the disabled" (or something catchier)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
