As part of the application process Lloyds Banking Group ask “What credit limit will be useful to you?” Where you can request a specificdaivid said:

Wish I asked for a higher limit but didn’t think I’d be accepted as didn’t pass the eligibility checker a month ago !Persistence is the answer.
limit ( no guarantee you would get it though ). First Direct have a similar process for their card too.Best Regards,

By way of an update I’ve just been accepted for an MBNA credit card with £9.8k limit with a 0% purchase off fore 12 months ( on purchases within 60 days ) that I will now take advantage of…Best Regards,
