Motorola FW500 user manual/full instructions

I am trying to help an elderly person to set up this Motorola FW 500 Hybrid corded telephone.  The only details I can find on line are not helpful and only refer  to its use and not how to actually use it and fully set it up - details not left when the 'phone was removed from the box and connected to the hub.

We would like to know what the symbols on the 'phone mean, and how to use them e.g.  to delete call history etc.  Trying to make it user friendly for the elderly person.  I telephoned and BT don't think the full user manual/instructions are available on line yet and they may have been in the box which was not left behind when the 'phone was installed.

I have posted the screenshot below - there was no emergency mobile telephone number left with the 'phone. Thank you for any help getting the full instructions on how to use the 'phone.

Would be really glad to know what the buttons do and how to use them - apart from obviously using numbers to dial a call.  Thank you.
