Cheap direct debits for Barclays Blue Rewards

Hello. I am considering getting Barclays Blue Rewards to allow me access to the linked 5.1% savings account, which is only available to customers who are members of Blue Rewards. I understand that you need to have 2 direct debits paying out per month to meet the eligibility criteria for Blue Rewards (and consequently, the savings account itself). I have previously used Post Office direct debits paying out £1 a month on other accounts, but these are no longer available. Are there any other options you would recommend?

There's a fair few of them. See:

Plum allow you to deposit via DD, as do MoneyBox. Both very simple. Also if you have a PayPal account you can link it to your bank account and make transfers via DD.0

If you make charitable donations then you could consider making them by DD.0

As already suggested, Moneybox and Plum, but they can take about a week to kick in depending when you set it up.Credit cards are also handy. But again can take a while to kick in.0

Moneybox, Plum, PayPal, and Currensea are the quick and easy ones I use. Other "easy" ones are to just shuffle around existing household bill DDs, but this may take time depending on the company and their billing cycles. Short of that there are plenty of good options in the thread linked above. Ideally you want it to end up not costing you, but a few small value charity DDs won't break the bank and can be easily cancelled after your switch if you get desperate for ideas.

If you google '30 pence direct debit' - this is the cheapest 'money down the drain' option for getting a quick DD I know of.

Barclays Blue Rewards is changing from 4 September, might not be worth it to sign up now

I love how they claim "Get access to enhanced rates on savings, cashback on everyday spending, and an Apple TV+ subscription" and then, further down, state:
"Earn up to 15% cashback when you spend at selected retailers with the Barclays Visa debit card linked to your Cashback Rewards account"
Having previously had a Blue Rewards account, I can say that the majority of those retailers were not where I conducted my everday spending!3 -
