Fed up with bank and credit card companies e-mailing saying "your statement is ready" only to log on and find it's not!

The opposite for me. I often find statements are available but don’t get the email notification until a day or so later.0

Never had that happen0

Santander credit card do this.
Send an email saying you statement is ready but when you log on to try & view it it is not there.
Sometimes it is a couple of days before you can view it.
Annoying to say the least.

I'm always receiving them too but I'm on my banking app so often it doesn't really matter. Is it sad that I know exactly how much money is in my current account, savings account and credit card balance at any time? Even now. Or, is it just me being savvy (some may call it a tad obsessive) after having been in extremely difficult financial straits previously? (Rhetorical question.)Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. (Rhetorical question.)I can remember the nightmare of my first ever bank account. I was 19 and had just gone off to University in 1971. The only way of knowing how much money I had was to wait for a statement or queue up at the bank and ask them for a balance. One day they told me my balance was £10 but it was actually -£10. Fortunately that doesn’t happen now.1
