ParkingEye, Aldi car park in Scotland

I arrived at this car park around 2130 to get some shopping before collecting family. However, after shopping I found I was unable to get put of the car park due to (a) a delivery lorry arriving, which caused chaos, and (b) drivers picking up people after the Harry Styles concert nearby, which caused even more chaos. When we tried to leave we couldn't because so many cars were still trying to come in. It took over 90 minutes to finally get out. Is there a link to your standard appeal letter for issues like this in Scotland? I read the newbie post but while it mentioned the standard appeal letter I couldn't find the link. Thanks, in advance.

It's Scotland. Just ignore, weather the inevitable wave of debt collector letters which are nothing but kindling or emergency toilet paper and it will eventually be dropped.
There is no PoFA in Scotland and no keeper liability. As long as no one tells the PPC the identity of the driver, they have nowhere else to go. If you really feel aggrieved, you could tell Aldi to get it cancelled or lose your and your family and friends custom as none of you are prepared to receive a speculative invoice from an unregulated ex-clamper just for being patrons of their establishment. Perhaps work out roughly how much you and your family and friends spend over the course of a year with them and highlight which side of the scales they prefer to be.
The Newbies/FAQ thread near the top of the forum explains everything, including PCNs received in Scotland and NI.2 -
I have read through the Newbie thread although there is quite a lot of information to get my head round. I have already messaged Aldi in the manner you suggested. I'm annoyed because we were trying to get out of the car park but physically couldn't because there were so many cars coming in. It was bonkers! Anyway, cheers.B789 said:It's Scotland. It you can safely ignore it so no worries.
BUT:
Things are changing in 2024 in Scotland.
I don't have time to explain about the new Code of Practice and regulation coming in so search the forum for Scotland Parking Code.
You won't be able to ignore future ones.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And please read this link and bookmark the necessary thread so you come back in July/August.
Scottish drivers are needed:

You are about to suffer what happens in England. You are getting 'keeper liability' in 2024, whether you are driving or not.
A nasty shock is coming to motorists North of the border.
Best you can do is respond to the Public Consultation in August, to minimise the level of parking charges and INSIST ON A BAN OF FALSE ADDED 'FEES' which if it continues, will see drivers and registered keepers in Scotland sued in droves.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
