Is this your defence or WS? If it's your defence then you are answering the PoC in the claim. You will expand on everything at WS time.
All you need to do is add your para #2 and #3 as per the template defence. Keep your defence short, sharp and to the point. You can expand everything later. Don't fall into the trap of doing the claimant's work for them by writing War & Peace in your defence.
You need to number every paragraph sequentially and drop the sub-numbering. There is an obvious temptation by most people to add every detail in their defence but it is not required. Answer the PoC and just state that you were parked in accordance with your lease which the PPC has no right to alter and will be evidenced in your WS. KISS.2 -
The new exemplar residential defence is by @Rinches19PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi again all,
Where can I find the latest exemplar of a witness statement? DCBL have sent me the boilerplate email that they are going to proceed to court, there may be scope to mediate yadda yadda, so want to get ahead.
Thanks all :-)0 -
Whilst it is good that you are planning ahead, there are a few more steps needed before you need a Witness Statement.Snayl86 said:Hi again all,

Remember that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence?
Might be worth having another look at that and re-reading points 7, 8, 9 and 10 found there.1 -
More of an FYI at this stage, have just discovered that Secure-A-Space, who this is pertinent to, is in fact majority owned by UKPC. From reading the excellent work of you all it certainly fits in with the UKPC/DCBL pattern mentioned in other threads!2

Looks like Rupert bought them out on 22 December 2022. Possibly a Christmas prezzie for Amanda Joy (makes a change from another Aston Martin!). So thoughtful.Snayl86 said:More of an FYI at this stage, have just discovered that Secure-A-Space, who this is pertinent to, is in fact majority owned by UKPC. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Me again!
I've been through the relevant threads but can't find any clarification if anyone can help, I'd once again be grateful.
I'm assuming that the below that I received about a week ago is not the actual court order, and that the date is just provisional? It's just this page, no page 2 with further directions or deadlines etc.
Thanks again.0
