Hello. Firstly, can I thanks all the people that reply to posts like this on this incredibly helpful forum, especially people like @Grizebeck and @Coupon-mad - your replies have been incredibly useful and i now know a lot more from POLA to PoFA and non-pofa, 14 days, not naming drivers, etc etc etc. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I am a newbie but can't seem to find how to access the newbies thread - it's probably simple so simple.

the question i am hoping for a bit of extra advice regards a parking charge notice from smart parking for a contravention dated 28/4/23, issued 24/5/23 but not arriving in the post until a couple of days ago on 3/6/23 putting incredible stress and pressure on me to respond before deadlines. the notice doesn't mention protection of freedoms act.

i am sure the answer is within the newbies thread so hopefully i can discover how to access it; and like i say posts from users such as grizebeck and coupon-mad are just so helpful but i'm looking for a definitive answer to say go for the appeal and perhaps a template for how to word it all.

I love it... can we go for an even shorter appeal?  Maybe drop the "thanks"?

To the OP... this is a prime example of what you put in your appeal... literally. Just don't blow it by giving away who was driving. (Not so) Smart don't know and they can't hold the RK liable.

Ive already given it to you for smart!! just use what you were already given

This is the abbreviated appeal template for a (Not so) Smart Parking appeal:

PCN non-PoFA. Cancel it or issue POPLA code. Your choice.

Do you need anything more than that?

Thanks again and apologies for asking for something more. I’m no expert. You’ve obviously got more knowledge in these aspects than me.
is it likely that they’ll cancel it or more likely that I’ll be send a POPLA code?
And I’ve seen posts saying smart and non-POFA is a ‘golden ticket‘ - what does that mean?

I just thought of an even more abbreviated appeal:

Non-PoFA. POPLA code or Arkell v Pressdram.
