And lets not forget that some of the events of 2022 were consequences of actions taken under the previous Government.  e.g., Gordon Brown, the pension fund liquidity issues, and the quantitative easing being unwound.   Its easy to blame the incumbent party. Especially given their inability to project any coherent policies in recent years, but a lot of the structural issues are historic.

13 years including a 80 seat majority and they've achieved nothing. Being kind you could say Universal Credit but being unkind that's probably ruined thousands of lives. 4% hit on GDP. £37bn on test, track and trace. 280,000 dead. Trade deals to decimate our farming and scheisse in our river. We all know the rest so I won't go on. None of this was inherited no matter how how many times people refer to the Iraq war, 'GB sold all our gold' or 'sorry no money left'. None of it compares to the complete waste of time that has been the last 13 years.
If you believe all that then surely Britain is a 'buy' now as prices should be deflated.

If you believe another party will do better and may get into power now is the time to buy...

The US market is propped up by a handful of mega companies which is not ideal in terms of risk....I read 4% of a global tracker would be in Apple. So not as  diversified as you may think.

ATM I am not worried about a higher UK bias...
