VW Fleet Services would have been a previously leased car - could have been pool car or leased to a company and a single person used it.0

But in my post above I’ve been keeping watch on a couple of cars for about 3 weeks and prices falling, so why no negotiation?
You can try, but I think gradually dropping prices is how it works now. Dealers will be paying close attention to car prices especially since the market is a bit volatile, and will be presumably assessing the prices on a weekly basis at least. As mentioned, the sticker price needs to be competitive for anyone to even ask about it.If you've seen the price drop and it's been there a while, then there's certainly nothing wrong with you making them an offer on it, even if it's something like "I see that car XYZ is up for £10k, give me a call when you'll take £9k for it".0 -
