Has anyone actually managed to get the five month's free Apple TV+ for new customers to work??

The e-mail from Barclaycard with click-through links tells me "I'm not a customer" which is odd since I really am a customer with fully set up online account and app.

Yes I got it without any issue - but the 5 months is designed for new subscription customers. So I cancelled my existing Apple TV subscription, waited for it to lapse, then took my free 5 months.
