Hi guys. Looking at selling my car to cazoo. It's currently on finance with a settlement of £5,621.
Cazoo are offering £12,000 for it.
Has anyone had experience of selling a car via home collection with cazoo?
Do they come to your house take your car away and then pay you? Or are you paid directly before the car is taken away?
I'm not sure how it works and it isn't explained on the website.
Let's say they take it away, and then offer less than what it was initially graded on the website can I request the car back and reject the sale.
I would drop it at one of their centres but it's a bit far from me.
Thanks

l sold a bmw 4 series to cazoo but l took it to one of the drop off centres because the car was worth about £30,000 so was above the limit for home collection. plus they charge from £149.00 for collection from home so if you can drop the car off you would probably save money, my car had nearly a full tank of gas so l was going to loose that anyway so l used it to drive the car to the drop off centre and paid £7.00 for a train ticket to get home so only cost a small amount and half a day of my time
when l agreed to sell the car and agreed a price subject to inspection l registered my bank details with cazoo and when l dropped the car off it was inspected was deemed as described and they would pay the full offer price. the cazoo rep accepted the car on his i pad hit the button to pay and the money transfered to my account instantly. seconds later my phone banking app pinged as the money was transfered, the whole process was very simple and l was very pleased at how the sale went
if you are a long way from the cazoo car centre they may charge more than the £149.00 collection plus the £49.00 sale admin fee so you may save money by dropping the car off. i drove over 100 miles to the drop off centre and cost was a few hours time and a few quid train fare so saved loads over paying for collection0 -
Cinch and Webuyanycar are in the same group (BCA) - Cazoo used to be in the same group (owned by BCA) but left in 2021...I have sold a car to WBAC and was impressed with both the money offered and the speed of the whole process !!
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0
