Morning all, yay the sun is back ! DGD is still here and is making clay bead bracelets, I can't help as the beads are tiny and I can't thread the twine stuff through them, but I did manage to put a knot in it, go me !! DD will pick her up sometime later this afternoon, she's no bother although she spent the whole of yesterday talking our ears off 😂 DGS dropped a parcel off here last night and booked himself in for a sleepover tomorrow night, we can't get away from them !! 🤣 Not that I'm complaining, I couldn't image life without them now.
This morning the dw has been on and the wm is now whirling away with a new ks duvet set which I found at Dad's. He only has a double bed now so I'll see if it's any good, it feels hard and if it doesn't soften it will go to the cs.
I didn't find any wallpaper to suit me, they seem all doom and gloom colours and I want something cheery for the bedroom, so I'm still hunting.
Sorry I have forgotten who said what this morning, brain like a sieve !
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need especially those with poorly relatives.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick one to say the mayhem continues. Both children now have ear infections so we had another disturbed night. Send matchsticks for the eyelids.11 -
The grass is not only mown but also the second half has been scarified too. Turns out that there's been a touch of numptiness in the air though I'm still baffled. Seems that the lock function (to protect the battery) is now working back to front, when the switch is showing 'locked' it's actually unlock and when showing 'unlocked' it's locked. Once we had figured this out both mowers are working.
Now I feel even more guilty.
All the moss which was removed was so lovely and soft, would have been perfect for nesting material earlier in Spring. If I could be bothered with hanging baskets it would have been useful there too, however it's all (four bags) now in the garden waste dumpster at the tip.Coming back on the canal road the smell of wild garlic was wafting around, delicious. I've got a couple of them in the back garden so I may pick the leaves to make garlic butter and store in the freezer. For now I'm still working through the monthly banking, too many interruptions this morning to make headway. I've also got a small washing load out on the line.9 -
Afternoon everyone
I've just had my PIP assessment - I don't feel it went very well but will just have to wait and see - it could be 8 weeks before I hear anything. She wanted a lot of yes and no answers and I wanted to explain things more. Anyways I'm shattered now so I'm going to make a cuppa and go out into the sunshine.
Snoozer I hope the 2 little ones are better soon - you must be worn out.
Hope everyone has a good day x10
