absolutely awful service from them, i set up a saver bond account and had 14 days to deposit money or they close the account, i transferred £20,000 the very next day after opening it and the same day had an email to say the account was closed? i rang them obviously concerned about the transaction to be told they just dont know why that happened and my money"should" bounce back and all they can suggest is to open another account. well having no confidence in them and my money sat in limbo i asured the young lady i have no confidence and will not be saving with them now!

I can only agree with the comments of Sept 2023. I have been trying for over a month to speak to someone at Cynergy. They locked my account and I could not access it for 4 days. Spent over 2 hours on a number of phone calls which went unanswered (high volume of calls etc). Tried secure messages, but just get computer replies. Was promised a phone call last week which didn't happen and reminded them. I get another reply saying the same thing as last week.
Myself and my wife have had ISAs with this bank for some time, and have currently a large amount to invest. I have told them I will be transferring elsewhere rather than invest it with them. They used to be OK, but something must have happened to them. Don't be tempted by their interest rate, there are other banks/building societies that offer the same or better. These are not mentioned on MSE, so do you homework.
