ANPR on free car park - grace?

Is it possible to claim (or potentially argue) a "grace" period for a supermarket car park that is free, but limited to 2 hours. (Not customer only)
On arrival, time to read notices and accept the "terms". 10 mins?
If so, would you fail on your attempt to claim a grace period if it could be proved it's a car park you use regularly ?
I'm thinking of using one near me, weekly, but I could be really tight on timings if strictly 2 hrs on the dot, from entering the car park to leaving.
Is 10 mins extra "baked in" to their systems?
Thanks.

Yes and no. But if it's only APCOA, Highview, Horizon or Smart Parking (or any other who don't use the POFA) it's easy to beat anyway by not saying who was driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But I won't be a customer and won't have a receipt.
Like I said, it's not strictly "customer only" as you don't need to enter a reg number in store or anything.
I'm not planning on running over 2 hours, but wanted to know if I'd be ok if I was just a minute or so over.
I'll try to remember to have a look at who runs theirs, when I run past tomorrow. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.56% of current retirement "pot" (as at end January 2025)0 -
Plastic bag over the relevant number plate as you drive out seems to be the solution (remember to stop and remove it once past the cameras and before entering the public highway). I've done it before when I frankly don't trust their systems, like where you have to enter your number plate on a tablet at a hotel reception, but get no feedback as to whether it worked or not.0

I had a look this morning and it's operated by Euro Car Parks.
So would be interested to know how 'rabid' they are with enforcement?
However, I did, this morning find a non ANPR, free for 3 hours, car park equally distant from where I need to be, so hopefully, won't have a need to use Morrisons. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.56% of current retirement "pot" (as at end January 2025)1 -

Morrisons will come back and ask for clarification and whether you have any receipts or a Morrisons card. Just respond by telling them that you don't as you used cash, don't have a receipt and expect them to cancel the unfair PCN issued by their unregulated private parking company or lose not only yourself as a customer but all your family and friends as no one expects to receive a speculative invoice from ex-clampers just for being patrons of their store. Or just wait out the inevitable tidal wave of debt collector scare-o-grammes after which they will give up having noted you as being "not worth the effort" of pursuing.2 -
So it's completely independent of Morrisons in a way, that they don't, for example, to check CCTV and record you walking away and won't (or can't) prove that you never set foot in the shop!!How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.56% of current retirement "pot" (as at end January 2025)1
