Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Damp underfoot, we've had some light rain overnight but forecast is for it to become dry during the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was fish, chips/veg etc. Tonight will be chicken, pasta and sauce.
Last day this week at work, today will be steady I hope.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Dry and sunny this morning, could get used to this! No washing to do this morning thank goodness, can't keep up with the ironing!
Lovely day at work with only two classes in, felt like an in-service day. Colleague returned, lots to catch her up on, maybe today will be the day I get a tea break!
I still haven't done any shopping so the fridge is bare - plenty of fruit at work so I will snack on that all day and meet up with friends for dinner later once I've had a haircut. I seem to have a lot of appointments coming up - dentist, optician etc. Need to keep a close eye on the calendar or I'll miss something!
Hope all the poorlies are feeling better and Mr Izzy returns home.
Thinking of you TA and Coxy, difficult times for you both.
Enjoy today if you can. Take care XX (kisses back - different Chromebook borrowed from work!)11 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.It's chilly and grey here, you wouldn't think we are nearly half way through the year, yesterday was cloudy with a cold wind.TA, sorry to hear about your SIL, what a shock for you all, hope she starts regaining her mobility soon.Snoozer. hope your family recovers soon, you've had a bad few weeks.Izzy, glad to see that your hub has had his op, hope he makes a good recovery.DP1, we were just talking yesterday about visiting Beamish - we haven't been this year as the weather has been so awful, but we'll go soon. It's only a10 minute drive away from us. Glad you had a nice day. The queues at the sweet shop and the fish and chip shop are always massive though. Not much happening here, I've hardly been out this week, though we did go for a beach walk on Tuesday when the sun shone, it doesn't seem to shine very often sadly!Don't overdo it with the decorating Nan - I like decorating, wish I could come and help!Hope everyone has a good day, thinking of all of our poorly people, there seem to be quite a few.Take care folks.13

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Another cloudy start but yet again the sun is due to come out later. The pots at the back are bone dry again so I will need to hose them again today before they die on me.
Lots of poorlies and recoverers on here just now. IZZY I hope your DH makes good progress. COXY I hope SIL is doing as well as she can. SNOOZER and BELLA too with the teething GC and their lack of sleep. CAMELOT I hope your tea breaks resume today. In my news I was pleased to hear from my DB last night that SIL is making excellent progress and physio are already on the case.
Not a lot planned here today other than the usual Thursday kitchen and bathroom clean and watering the pots. And I need to do a bit of a freezer tidy at some point as there's stuff shoved everywhere. The phantom messer upper has been at it again!! Hopefully the sun will emerge and a bit of reading outside might happen after lunch. If not I'm sure I will find some other jobs to do inside.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all who need them. Take care all and be safe xx

Morning folks. My trip down to Glasgow was good though it was much cooler there than here. Unfortunately I got another punctured tyre so by the time I got to a garage it was flat. It only took the blokes twenty minutes to get a new one on. It's so blooming annoying. Anyway, it got sorted and I made my dental appointments in time. I need to go back in two weeks for a small cosmetic repair. I mostly resisted shopping only picking up a few fresh items. The drive back was so glorious, bright sunshine and bodies of water to look at all the way home. I had a lovely chat with the farmer who was sitting in his beautiful red shiny tractor. To my surprise I 'won' tickets to see my favourite BBC radio programme being recorded in two weeks time. It was the idea of my nephew to enter the ballot, he wasn't successful but we're now in. There was a flurry of train and hotel bookings, I've decided to go down on the Caledonian Sleeper, such a treat, and come back on a day train. I'm excited already.Today is for changing the bed linen, getting it washed and out on the line before going to my first aqua-cycling class which was recommended by the physio. I'm sort of looking forward to it.Snoozer - what a rotten time you're having. 💕
TA - I hope that your SIL is improving.Coxy - and the same for your SIL too.Izzy - good news about your OH.Happy sunny Thursday to all.12 -

Morning everyone
Cloudy here this morning but hopefully the sun might pop out later. DD took me shopping for plants and more compost yesterday morning then little one and I spent the afternoon outside potting them up. She was 'helping' for a while sweeping up the compost she spilt all over the path and watered everything for me.
This morning I'm taking her on a boat trip - just for an hour along the river and into the sea - I'm hoping she loves it otherwise it could be a long hour! Hopefully we'll see some dolphins there were photos online of some people have spotted this week whilst on these trips. When I told her she said 'but what if I fall in and drown?' - I pointed out that I'm hardly going to let her fall in. Hopefully she'll not say it when we're actually in the boat!
Then we're meeting DD and my mam and dad for lunch and then we'll go up to the library and change her books.
Izzy glad to see your hubby is back and you've got your time off work.
Gers I'm feeling quite envious - I'd love to go on the Caledonian sleeper
Snoozer I hope everyones feeling better soon
Scarlet when we were at Beamish DD and I were saying that it must be so nice to live close to Beamish and to be able to just go for a couple of hours when you felt like it. It take us about an hour and a half to get there. We will go again though later in the year now we have tickets.
I'd better go otherwise I'll get nothing done before it's time to go out
Hope everyone has a good day x13 -
Morning all, it's cold and grey here too. I had a rotten night's sleep so decided to go the sm and was in there before 8am. My freezers are now rammed and I'm guilty of messing my own up this morning as I've just thrown everything in so I could have a cuppa and a pain au choc. I needed it after shopping and also witnessing someone get caught shoplifting 😧 Seems the person had put some items on the conveyor belt but left 3 expensive things in the trolley hidden by a bag ! Vey naughty !!
Now I have to finish putting the shopping away before DGD arrives after lunch for a sleepover, good job I have tidied things away from the spare bedroom as she and I will be sleeping in there tonight. I bought her favourite pizza to have for tea with French fries and I'll have salad with mine.
Take care all. Hugs to the poorly ones or those recovering. Special hugs to the little ones.
